Appendectomy

Spent the weekend at Bryan having my appendix removed. Tried to post
this from the hospital last night, but their wi-fi didn't like me. I
am home now and can't do much until Wednesday. I am sore, but they
gave me some good pain pills:)

Moved IN!

Beckie and I got moved into our new house this last weekend. We are excited and really tired. We had a lot of help with our friends coming from Omaha, Columbus and Springview to help out. That doesn't even count all the people who helped who live here in Lincoln. Thank you everyone!

I finally got it!

I finally replaced my stolen bike. Here are some pictures of my new Surly Cross Check. It is a cycle cross bike, which is right between a mountain bike and a road bike... but not a hybrid.

I am extremely excited to ride it to work tomorrow! It has bar-end shifters, and I added a rack, so I can get a pannier and carry my stuff to work.









Oliver really likes my new bike too! He thinks I can go really, really fast on it.

New Bike

Anyway, I am finally getting my new bike. I ordered a Surly Cross Check from Bike Pedalers (on 33rd and B). I am pretty excited about it. I don't have my actual bike, but it should be done in a day or two. Here is a picture of what my bike is going to look like. I will take pictures of my actual bike once I get it, and post them.

Mine will be in black.

Worky worky, busy busy!

I haven't posted for a while. We have been really busy the last couple of months. Beckie graduated from Wesleyan with her Masters Degree in December! We will be celebrating in May. I am still in my PhD program, and am taking my final stats class this semester. I hope to not flunk it, as I don't do well in stats, so wish me luck.

We took Oliver to obedience training in January. He did really well and we all three learned a lot. I am also teaching a night class for the business college at UNL, so that is my Wednesday nights. I spend Tuesday and Thursday in Stats class. Hence, "Worky worky, busy busy!"

We have made an offer on a house, and if the inspection comes back clean, we should be moving in by April 1. Here is a link to the place, this is the web site the seller put up... I don't know how long in will be up: http://811mahoney.com
