We went to the first game of season and watched Nebraska trounce Nevada. Regardless of what you may have heard on the news, or from other people... it was hotter than crap out there. Yes it was only 85 degrees and there was a nice breeze, but once you are in a stadium of 85 thousand people, sitting in the sun... it gets really hot. We got out of the heat and had a beer at the Embassy Suites.
Saturday night Amber called. She and Noel were in Omaha at a friend's wedding and had bought tickets to the Nebraska/Penn State volleyball game, and she had two extra ticket. So we went to Omaha to watch the volleball team slaughter Penn State. It was a great game, and it was nice to see Amber and Noel, they just moved back to Atlanta from London. The guy who took our picture must have been pretty shaky, this is a bad picture.
